Welcome to the Watershed CPR Dashboard.
This is a connection point for exploring protection and restoration efforts across the Fraser Watershed. It brings together existing and proposed projects that have been shared with us, showing how local efforts are part of the watershed’s story. We’ve reached out broadly across the watershed, but this Dashboard is by no means complete, nor is it intended as a land-use planning tool. It reflects collective intent and the spirit of collaboration taking shape across the watershed
Use the map to zoom and click icons for project details. The drop-down menu lets you filter by project type or region, the legend explains the icons and layers, and the search bar can help you find specific projects more quickly.
As more projects and perspectives are shared, it will continue to evolve. It is meant to spark conversation, highlight connections, and imagine a resilient Fraser Watershed, from headwaters to sea.
This map and its stories grow stronger when more voices and efforts are included. If you have a proposed protected area or restoration project (since 2020) that contributes to connecting, protecting, or restoring the Fraser, you are invited to share it here and help tell the story of the watershed.

The Fraser Watershed flows through the ancestral homelands of many First Nations, who have cared for these lands and waters since time immemorial and continue to do so today. Rivershed acknowledges that we are settlers on these territories, which are unceded and untreatied. We have a responsibility to respect Indigenous rights, as affirmed in UNDRIP, and to support First Nation-led efforts to connect, protect, and restore the watershed.

The Rivershed Society of BC (Rivershed) is a non-profit charity dedicated to improving the health of the Fraser Watershed through Watershed CPR (Connect. Protect. Restore.). Rivershed’s vision is for the Fraser Watershed to be a resilient watershed, with salmon, people and economies flourishing in rivershed communities. We were formed in 1996, in the wake of Fin Donnelly’s “Swim for Life”—a 1,400 km 3-week swim down the entire length of the Fraser River. Rivershed is working with a watershed-wide movement to protect and restore salmon and wildlife habitat in each of the Fraser’s 34 riversheds.
